The Author

Amber Dean is a Fordham University alumna whose unique career journey has taken her from New York City to New Orleans—and now to Abu Dhabi, UAE. In her early career, she immersed herself in diverse roles, including Fine Art Modeling, real estate at Keller Williams, nightlife as a club DJ, and Brand Ambassador for brands spanning wine to vape pens. Her adventurous spirit led her to Salt Lake City, Utah, where she and her husband co-founded the state’s largest members-only, sex-positive club. After five years, they relocated to New Orleans, where Amber found the inspiration to begin writing.

Now settled in Abu Dhabi, Amber loves exploring the world with her husband and son, snuggling with her three cats and two guinea pigs, and devouring all the creepy media she can find. A lifelong horror enthusiast and true-crime aficionado, she channels her fascination with the dark and disturbing into her work.
